Since the release of SharePoint 2010, one of the most common questions I get is “what is the best way to get up and running to be able to play around”. Microsoft of course offer a pre-canned VM which is an excellent resource for partners for sales purposes. But if you are a little more technical, you probably want to set it up yourself.
